Counter Steer Rc Drift TA06 project car

Here's my latest project Countersteer TA06. It took me almost a month to setup this to drift TA06.

TA06 is not a typical rc drift kit. TA06 is design for on road race kit.

People ask me, whats the best kit for rc drifting? My best answer is what's your budget? haha
Really to shop for an rc drift kit, it can be a head ache.
But, not anymore there are variety drift kits available in the market today. You just have to choose wisely which one would fit your budget. I suggest for Rc Drift kits like Hpi, Yokomo, Tamiya, MST, StreetJams, Dlike,.... Please don't buy imitation clone kits, its not worth it

Abc hobby Nissan Cedric 430 body Team Orange

Here's my Nissan Cedric 430 body
Painted in racing orange with Team Orange decals and Yokomo Enkei RP-F1 wheels with single ring drift tires.

The wheels are -3mm offset all around it fits the body very nice without scraping around the wheel well.

Still planning to add a drag wing to finish this body and maybe some lights set.

My first RC 2WD Drifting video

Here's my first Rc 2wd drifting video, I'm still struggling in some areas.

Practice makes it perfect.

My 2wd Rc Drift basic Setup Hotbodies Cyclone Project

2 wd Rc Drifting basic setup for belt driven drifter or shaft driven drifter -

1. You need to remove the front cvd bone. If you have an extra universal axle that's all you need. Replace that front axle and mount it back.

You don't need to remove the front belt for belt driven cars or center shaft for shaft driven cars. We're only disconnecting the front axle at this point.

2. Adding weights on the front bumper will help the car to stabilize and rear weights is for traction. Too much rear traction it will not slide.

3. Lower your FDR final drive ratio for 2wd rc drifter plays a big role, it eliminates some overdrive snap back during transition.

This is not your CSR counter steer ratio. FDR is combination of your rear gear ratio, spur and pinion.

The best way to do this for rc 2wd drifters Beginners is to increase a tooth on the pinion, you don't want it too much because your motor will heat up quick. eg. I have pinion 24T now 25T.

4. 2wd Rc Drift Gyro helps too for newbies like me. Having a rc gyro makes rc 2wd drifting more realistic.

NOTE rc car gyro doesn't make 2wd drifting easy, you still need a TON of practice hours to get to your right setup.

You can get cheap 2wd Drift Gyro here

5. Suspension setup for 2wd rc drift, I kept my current 4wd CS drifter suspension setup which is medium spring front and soft rear.

This is an ongoing 2wd rc drift setup please share your setup at Rcdriftrevolution.com/forum
