Diy Pulley Tensioner or Pulley Idler for Rc Counter Steer mod

Diy Pulley Tensioner

Here's an update version of my Diy Pulley Tensioner or Pulley Idler

I will be using the HB Cyclone-S pulley for this project
you can get them here

Cut the side knob and sand it down even

You need a 1/4 drill bit to bore for an opening
for the flanged bearing about 2mm deep

Flanged bearing size 3x6x2.5mm
you can get them here

Test the flanged bearing into the pulley
then repeat process to the other side

Here's my simple version of Diy Rc Body Roof Rack

I will be recycling some of my rc stuff for this project

Things you need: lexan plastic tree parts screws double sided tape screw driver xacto knife scissors
black marker

Preview of my Diy Rc Body Roof Rack

You need a piece lexan from your rc body
cut outs to make the legs

Tamiya plastic tree parts for the bar

You need to trace 4 of this roof rack legs

Mark the rc body where you want the roof rack legs
then cut a small line for the legs, you can use a dremel
to make cuttings easier

Insert the legs to test the height you want

Bend all the lexan into an L shape when you get the
right height and paint them with a black marker
also drill a hole for the mounting screw

Insert all the legs into the body and secure
them with double sided tape

For the bar you need to cut it from the plastic tree
make 2 of this

then screw them to the legs

Finally, I got myself motivated to make this DIY Flip Lights. I been ask several times to make another DIY flip lights this time I took some pictures

I will be using a recycled Onevia body, I got from my friend.

The DIY is really simple and it can be applied to any other bodies.

Part: One Assembly rod

Cut off an opening for the new buckets make sure its straight.

* for Trueno AE86 body follow the outline of the lid and save the Lids*

Insert the push rod into the antenna straw then bend the rod into V shape

Place the assembly rod inside the rc body for measurements

Once you have the right measurement bend the other end of the rod into V shape

Place the assembly rod inside the body and either use tape or hot glue to hold in place temporarily

Now glue hot glue or tape the Lid on the V shape rod

Check if everything is aligned

Do a manual flip test

Now you can permanently epoxy the antenna straw and the Lids

Part: Two Light buckets

Here's my version for light buckets, you need to make a triangle and for the width measure the opening in the body

Glue the bucket with the lid temporarily

Check for alignment and glue pemanently

Cut little cardboard triangles for the side of the buckets
I painted them with black markers and glue them on the sides of the buckets

Outline the front lens with a black marker

Important !
Add a piece of straw on the end of the assembly rod to prevent from moving

Part: Three Servo arm

You need a servo arm for the light bucket

Glue the arm on the side of the light bucket

You need a servo push rod for final piece bend the ends

Measure the length and where you want place the servo

Install one end of the push rod to the light bucket

Do the same on servo

Placed the servo on an angle where the wheels are free to move

Run the servo wire on the side where the receiver for easy access

Your Done!

Here's one of my favorite D1 driver. I like how he pushes his AE86 to the limits.
I been wanting to do a replica of Hibino's matte black AE86 but, a new body cost $50 and its too expensive for this project.

I used my old Hpi AE86 RSR scheme body for this project

With a little mod on the Hpi Ae86 body, I turn this body into a coupe .

And here's the result I still need to add the side mirror, rebuild the front bumper and D1 sponsors decals. enjoy

This is gonna be an interesting challenge for the ultimate drift kit. I'm certainly sure that this New Cylone Drift kit will be ridiculous expensive. I hope they would offer this as an upgrade kit for the standard cyclone.
